Clearly we weren't the only nutters though, the carpark filling up while we got ready, with a fair few out on the trails. Luckily Swinley is now pretty good all season, with only a few really muddy sections.
Only 3 of us were brave enough to hit the trails, Greg_S arriving on bike after cycling the 5 miles from his house, Paul O turning up late, but at the right location and me getting there too early as usual.
3 hours of riding (with a puncture repair to Paul's bike) saw Paul still going strong, Greg flagging but still getting up most of the hills and me completely knackered and desperate to get back to ensure I didn't get a parking ticket (in the event it was Paul who did as his ticket had flipped over when he put it in the windscreen).
A great morning's riding and something I plan to do more of in the new year, including some night rides.
